Admissions
When do the children start Nursery and full time schooling?
Nursery pupils start either in September (if their fourth birthday is between September and February) or in January (if their fourth birthday is between March and August).
Reception pupils start either in September (if their fifth birthday is between September and February) or in January (if their fifth birthday is between March and August)
When are places offered?
Nursery application forms: soon after Christmas in the school year prior to admission.
Reception class application forms: before Christmas in the school year prior to admission.
How do I make an application?
As a Voluntary Aided school the admissions criteria are decided by the Governing Body. To apply for a place, you need to complete two forms: a County form and a School form. The County form will be posted to you directly from County along with an information pack about the admission arrangements. School forms are available from the school. You may like to complete the schools Register of Interest form, so that we can send you a school application form at the right time.
How many children are offered a place?
The annual admissions limit is thirty children.
What if my child is already of school age?
Please contact the school to find out what places are available.
If you are considering applying for a place for your child you are invited to contact our School Secretary, Mrs Connon, who will be able to make an appointment for you to see the school.
